THE JUNIOR BLOODS
WELCOME TO OUR SITE!!!
Manchester County FA affiliation No FAC 00391
Notice to all teams
At the September Metro Meeting a ruling was passed by all member clubs that the Metro league has now fully endorsed the FA Respect Initiative
How does this effect you you might ask?
Well from this weekend all PARENTS & SUBSTITUTES will now line up on the same side of the pitch at least 1 metre back from the touchline in every match only coaches & linesmen are allowed beyond this point
The idea is to put an end to the abuse of players and referees from spectators and teams lining up either side of the playing area and hurling abuse at one another
Putting them together is a daft idea you might think?
Well you would be wrong it has proven in trials that lining both sets of supporters up on the same touchline in fact eases the tension of both sets of parents who it is widely accepted throughout the game are the main culprits of abuse.
The last statement is not aimed at all parents rather the minority of them.
Get on board
We at Droylsden would hope that all concerned with the club will accept this new initiative and get on board with what the FA are trying to acheive, for the good of the game.

Why not google the subject to get a better understanding and spread the word, i am sure you have all seen and heard all kinds of abuse at matches involving your kids and would love to see an end to it?
We all have a role to play in what should be a great pass time for our kids and this includes the referees who most of the time are kids themselves looking to earn a little pocket money and be a part of our national game.
RESPECT
pass the word!!!
I'm DJ and I would like to welcome you to the Droylsden Juniors FC website.
At Droylsden we have F.A. qualified coaches offering coaching for children of all ages. We have an academy for 5yrs to 8yrs and our teams range from our U/8s through to U/16's. Also we we now run three girls teams 12's, 14s, and 16's and from season 2007-8 we will be starting a ladies team open age 16+
All our teams play in the Stockport Metro League With the U/8's through to U/10's playing Mini Soccer (Seven a side) games, and the U/11's through to U/16's playing (Eleven a side.) Girls football is small sided
We try to promote "Fun Football" which we hope will help children in their development of social and athletic skills.
In 2004/05 our club received the FA Charter Standard for junior soccer clubs, in 2006/07 we recieved the development club award which will take us to to a new, and very exiting level of football for our young players.
We hope the site helps to make us more accessible to our existing players, prospective players, parents, new members, and fellow clubs.
